The Island
The Island of Gozo is the northernmost part of the Maltese Archipelago. Easily reached with ferry crossing or by helicoper from Malta airport. Agriculture and Tourism are main activities. Lately lots of vineyards are sprouting everywhere as the Island geographical position gives it unlimited hours of sunshine and producing very good quality local wines from Syrahs to Chardonays. Being surrounded by sea it is a perfect break from the hustle and bustle with lots of small coves and sandy beaches. History buffs and subacqua divers are also in for a treat.

Gozo
Gozo is a third the size of Malta, but greener and more rural, Its landscape has hills and deep valleys as well as rugged cliffs, which give natural protection to the island`s small harbours and inlets. Life here moves at a leisurely pace, revolving around farming and fishing.
It is an island where time seems to have stood still. There may be deluxe hotels, wonderful small restaurants serving fish caught only hours before being served at the table, and a nightlife in summer to match the very best in Malta but it is all charmingly concealed in a magnificent and truly tranquil landscape. Gozo is where you can also get away to secluded privacy when you want to. No wonder it has become known as an island paradise.

Diving
The Island is steeped in legends: it is thought to be the mythical Calypso`s isle of Homer`s Odyssey. . Its rugged sea- and landscape offer endless touring and sports possibilities. Gozo has some of the Mediterranean`s best dive sites. The Islands have their own impressive historical sites and natural panoramas, and the archipelago`s largest temple prehistoric temple, Ggantija. Comino, halfway between Malta and Gozo, is a paradise for snorkellers, divers, windsurfers and walkers. The Isle`s famed Blue Lagoon, with its safe bathing in turquoise waters, makes an idyllic day, but Comino is a favourite escape destination all year round.
